Kimberly D. Percival-
Clinical Consultant
After receiving her bachelor's degree from Boston College,
Kimberly worked in various direct care positions with
adults with developmental disabilities. These positions
included case management, vocational coaching, and residential
supervising. While Kimberly pursued her Master's of
Social Work degree at Boston University, she had the
opportunity to broaden her range of experience, counseling
battered women at Respond, Inc. and running groups and
providing individual therapy for adults with addictions
and mental illness at the Cambridge Health Alliance's
Dual Diagnosis program.
Since receiving her Master's degree in
2001, Kimberly has held the dual position of Intake
Coordinator and Social Work Clinician at a community
mental health center, specializing in individual and
group psychotherapy with adults who have chronic mental
illness. Kimberly also sits on the clinic's chronic
mental illness specialty team comprised of clinicians
and psychiatrists who work intensively with the chronically
ill population. The team's primary objective is the
maintenance of high quality care for complicated psychiatric
cases through collaboration, communication, and peer
supervision.
