Prior to receiving her Master's degree, Stacey worked in various direct care positions with adults with chronic mental illness. These positions included case management, vocational coaching, crisis prevention, and resident supervision. Stacey worked for four years as the Program Coordinator for both residential and outreach services for seventeen adults with psychiatric disabilities. While working in this position, Stacey completed her Master's degree in Social Work from Boston College. Since receiving her Master's Degree in May of 2003, Stacey has held a clinical position providing discharge planning and supporting and counseling terminally ill patients and their families on the Transitional Care Unit within the Nursing Home Unit at the Brockton VA Hospital. Stacey is also involved with the Boston VA Healthcare System's guardianship team.
