Staff Profiles
Keith A. Duclos- Founder, President
Keith brings both professional management training and
diverse human service experience to the agency. Keith
graduated from the University of Massachusetts with
a Bachelor of Science in Management and spent a couple
of years working in the business field before making
a career change to human services. After five years
providing direct care and supervision in residential
settings to adults with developmental disabilities,
Keith went on to pursue his Master's degree in Human
Service Management from the Heller School at Brandeis
University. This experience afforded him the opportunity
to develop and enhance his human service skills on a
macro level. Since receiving his Master's degree, Keith
has worked in the human service system gaining valuable
experience with a variety of populations in diverse
settings. In his career he has moved from program director
overseeing several residential homes for adults with
developmental disabilities up to his most recent position
as the Director of Adult Support Services for people
with severe and chronic mental illness. This role has
included the supervision of fifty staff members and
the management of care for eighty-two clients with disabilities.
Keith has also had the unique opportunity
of living with an adult with developmental disabilities
in a shared-living arrangement for the past nine years.
Keith continues to share a home with a gentleman who
has greatly improved the quality of his life with the
assistance of Keith and his daily implementation of
an individualized service plan designed and routinely
adjusted to meet his changing needs.
Since graduate school it has been Keith's
goal to found his own agency in the human service field,
providing highly individualized services to people with
disabilities. His primary objectives have focused on
filling in the gaps normally found in supported living
services due to the common "cookie cutter"
approach often used in the field.
